HKScan Denmark is proud to be among the final three nominees for the CSR People Prize 2023. The award is given to companies that have made a special effort within social responsibility.
"We are delighted and proud of this nomination. It testifies to our unwavering commitment to supporting and developing our employees," says Tommy Nielsen, Production Manager at HKScan Denmark.
For many years, HKScan has employed and supported individuals who, for various reasons, may find it challenging to gain a foothold in the labor market.
"This effort is only possible because of the commitment and understanding shown by our employees, union representatives, and managers towards our colleagues who need additional support and flexibility," Tommy Nielsen continues. "We have worked closely with local job centers and their dedicated consultants, and have successfully helped more than 150 employees through job training since 2015. Impressively, over 53% of them are still employed with us, while others have moved forward in their careers."
"Diversity and inclusion are more than just policies and nice words for us. It's a heartfelt part of our corporate culture and the foundation for our continuous development. The diverse backgrounds and perspectives of our employees create strong commitment and a willingness to engage. It significantly increases our talent pool and makes our ideas and decisions more innovative”, says HKScan’s HR Director in Denmark Marianne Boe Madsen.
HKScan is proud to be able to highlight its employees, who represents no less than 26 different nationalities.
The winner of the CSR People Prize 2023 will be announced on 12 September at the Turbine Halls in Aarhus, where His Royal Highness Prince Joachim will open the ceremony, and the nominated companies will be presented and interviewed live on stage by Line Vaaben, editor at Dagbladet Politiken.
