We make life tastier - today and tomorrow

In July–September 2025, comparable EBIT from continuing operations increased to EUR 11.8 (11.6) million or 4.8 (4.6) per cent of net sales. Comparable EBIT was stronger than the comparison period for the eleventh consecutive time. It improved due to a better sales structure, savings generated by the company's efficiency programme, and increased production efficiency. The result for the period from continuing operations also showed growth. 

Net sales from continuing operations decreased by 1.8 per cent to EUR 247.1 (251.6) million. Sales to the Finnish retail channel and food service channel grew, and industrial sales and exports decreased as planned, which improved the sales structure.  

Retail sales increased particularly in meat products, and HKFoods strengthened its position in the meat product market. Sales also increased in poultry products and pork. Despite the challenging market situation, food service sales increased due to successful commercial measures and a comprehensive product range.

HKFoods Plc has decided on a significant strategic investment of approximately EUR 5 million in the meal production of its Vantaa unit. The investment is HKFoods’ response to the growing demand for ready meals in both the retail and food service sectors.

The investment supports HKFoods’ strategy to increase added value and operational efficiency. The company aims to grow in product categories that make everyday life easier for consumers, such as meals, meal components and snacks.
